You see? What’s there not to love about this blog? I do not authorize you to eliminate it.

Thanks, I’ll decide in the next few days what to do!

I had fun with these juicy little red berries on an otherwise dreary day.

Re deciding what to do: you have a group of dedicated readers. That’s worth a lot more than the number of “hits” on your stats, if that’s what you’re worried about. The hit count means very little, in my opinion. What really matters are the number of people who keep coming back. Half a dozen, a dozen? For me, that’s plenty. I don’t know about you, but I suspect you have more than that reading your blog every day. So I would strongly urge you to keep DTE alive.

I do not authorize you either (I authorize myself to say so, inspired by penseroso).

The only reason I can think of to leave a blog would be having too little time, or wanting to go into cyber-hybernation, and then again, the only solution is not to close shop, perhapse the solution may be to just post less often.

I don’t know what your reason is, but if you “close shop” I will miss you like a LOT, Gracie.

    Penseroso and Chill,

Thanks so much for your kind words.

I have a list of questions that I’m trying to answer in determining the best way to proceed at this point. Let me assure you the number of hits aren’t a factor at all, I promise. If anybody finds DTE useful than it’s an additional treat – kind of like icing on the cake.

It’s difficult right now so I’m asking for a little more time.

    Thanks again.

    Grace, I love your avatar!

WordPress is fine except that I can only write while in HTML editor which is a PIA. I’m going through some changes and just need to find the best way to deal with them at the moment Thank you!

Gracie – do you have the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” box checked in your Profile? I had trouble with this issue myself a while back. It was as if I suddenly could only post in HTML. Quite annoying until I figured out where the problem was.

You just solved that problem, Mocha. That’s exactly what was wrong although I don’t remember ever fooling around with it to begin with. Thanks, I owe you one!
